We are pleased to announce that our contributed column, “Circular Utilization of Unrecovered Resources Using the Microalga Galdieria,” has been published in the relay column series of the Council of Hiroshima for a Carbon Circular Economy (CHANCE).

CHANCE promotes initiatives that leverage Hiroshima Prefecture’s strengths toward the realization of a socio-economic system in which CO₂ is regarded as a resource and is sustainably circulated through the natural environment and industrial activities, while being transformed and utilized in various forms such as biological resources, chemical products, and fuels.

In this column, we introduce the potential for circular utilization of resources that have not been sufficiently recovered or utilized to date, using the microalga Galdieria.
